Swedish born Ann Nyberg raises the art of weaving to new heights with her complex and intricate works. Colorful and intense, they are life-affirmative with a fresh and original vision. In Nyberg’s hands wool is as formidable a medium as acrylic or oils. Skillfully she pushes weaving to unexplored territory and thereby establishes herself as a compelling innovator who teasingly challenges the eye’s status quo acceptance of artistic mediums. Her work tends to be intricate in design and well-formulated in concept.

I work with picture weaving, mixed media and acrylic painting. I am born i Norrköping and raised around Stockholm. I lived in Los Angeles and London in the late sixties.
