Iranian-born,
she was educated in Persian traditional painting (Parde)
and calligraphy.
Her
significant work deals with contemporary issues affecting
gender art and extreme infringements of human rights

she critically illuminates crimes of violence against
women in a universal context.
Hers
is not one of “art for art’s sake”
but rather one with a powerful message. It is contemporary
in its focus and targets man’s inhumanity to man
- in this case specifically women.
