Berlin born Carnelid grew up in Sweden as a child. In some of her recent works we experience delicate overlapping with dreamlike nuances—all achieved with pristine precision. As a result a magical quality capable of transcending time and space and object in sophisticated levels is attained with her intricate compositional selections. Her cutting edge Digital Fine Art works are steadily gaining international recognition. She just recently exhibited at Gallery Los Angeles Center for Digital Art (LACDA) , USA 2007.

I was born in Berlin, Germany 1964. Came as a Berlin Child 1968 and has grown up in Skåne and Småland. After a dozen years in Gothenburg I now live in Viared outside Borås, together with my husband Anders. Here is where I get my inspiration and my joy for my creativity.

Since 1997, I am painting digitally with the help of my computer and a Wacom digitizing tablet. This method of creating art is called Digital Fine Art. With related software, I recreate the different structure of different materials and media in my computer. I mix the colours I want and choose the technique and the brush that is best for me for just that artwork.

In recent years, I have had or participated in numerous exhibitions both in Sweden and abroad.
